Beyond: 나비의 날갯짓

부드러운 색조, 여성의 다양성과 아름다움을 다양한 매체로 표현하는 프랑스 Natacha Birds작가의 그림을 모티프로 사용하고 거기에 저의 스토리를 담아 만든 작품입니다.

상실과 고통 속에서 내면의 껍질을 깨고 일어서려는 한 여인의 이야기.

빈자리로 인해 우울에 빠져 있던 그녀는 떠나간 존재의 영혼이 여전히 곁에서 자신을 지켜보고 있음을 느끼게 됩니다. 용기를 내어 손을 뻗어 닫힌 자신의 마음문을 엽니다. 그 문은 두려움과 상처의 상징이었지만, 나아가는 순간 이후로는 생명과 도전이 기다리는 새로운 세계로 이어지는 길이 되었습니다.

문을 열고 나아가는 그녀의 주변에는 나비들이 날갯짓하며 여정을 축복합니다. 그리고 그녀 자신도 한 마리 나비가 되어 하늘로 꽃향기가 되어 퍼집니다.

관람자들에게 내면의 장벽을 깨고 새로운 가능성과 변화를 향해 나아갈 용기를 전하는 메시지를 담았습니다. 이 작품은 격려하는 사람이 우리 주변에 있으니 나 자신을 믿고 우리 모두가 두려움을 넘어 자유와 희망의 세계로 날아오를 수 있음을 이야기합니다.

This artwork is inspired by the soft tones and diverse representations of women’s beauty in the works of French artist Natacha Birds, blended with my own story.

It tells the story of a woman breaking through her inner shell to rise above loss and pain.

Falling into sadness from the emptiness left behind, she comes to realize that the soul of the departed still watches over her. With newfound courage, she reaches out to open the door to her heart, which had been tightly shut. That door, once a symbol of fear and pain, transforms into a pathway to a new world filled with life and opportunities the moment she steps through.

As she moves forward, butterflies flutter around her, blessing her journey. Eventually, she herself becomes a butterfly, soaring into the sky and spreading as a fragrance of flowers.

This piece carries a message of encouragement for viewers: to break through their inner walls and embrace new possibilities and change. It reminds us that there are people around us offering support, and if we believe in ourselves, we can all overcome fear and take flight into a world of freedom and hope.
